| *Autumn Study Tour to Palestine, Jerusalem and Israel - November 2009* In order to strengthen the voice of the international community, we encourage people to visit the Occupied Territories and Israel to be an eye-witness to the situation on the ground. No amount of reading, attending lectures or watching films can convey an accurate understanding of the "facts on the ground", which are crucial to any program of advocacy. These study tours bring visitors to meet with key people from both sides of the divide examining several aspects of life today in Israel, Jerusalem and Palestine. The tours provide a unique opportunity to gain first-hand,in-depth knowledge of some of the latest analysis. A twelve-day study tour will take place in November Be based in Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Nazareth Day trips visiting several different destinations including towns and villages, both the Judean and Negev deserts and coastal towns. Meet with a range of organisations including the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, Defense for Children International, Badil, Wi´am, Machsom Watch, Women in Black and more Visit The Future School for Girls in Beit Hanina, Bethlehem University and the Four Homes of Mercy in Bethany Opportunity to visit famous tourist sites, see the history and experience the culture The humanitarian element to the tour allows participants to give donations to organisations visited Cost per person for the full tour program, accommodation in three-star hotels with ensuite on half-board (bed, breakfast and evening meal), sharing a twin-bedded room, guides and tips is £820.
